The Rime of the Ancient Mariner is an amazing poem to teach. The story has elements of magic, mystery, and horror. It was also written during a period when
Coleridge was addicted to opium. There are some great resources to make this classic poem come alive, especially if you have a multimedia projector or a smart boardboard. Google images is a rich storehouse of pictures illustrating Rime of the Ancient Mariner. This particular teacher author has brought all the graphics together with quotes from the poem.
